Dr. Boyan Valentinov, MD, graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 1996 and obtained a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology in 2003. In 2012, he defended a doctoral dissertation focused on the treatment of diaphyseal forearm fractures in children. His career began in 1997 at Kaneff University Hospital, where he continues to work to this day.
Dr. Valentinov has trained at leading medical centers in Europe and the United States, including Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard University) and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (University of Pennsylvania). He has extensive experience in pediatric orthopedics, ultrasound diagnostics, as well as in limb correction and lengthening procedures. He is the author of over 100 scientific publications, co-author of several textbooks and books, and a member of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS). Since 2011, he has been part of AO Trauma Bulgaria, actively participating in trainings and professional forums.
