Dr. Albena Angelova

Dr. Albena Angelova is a highly qualified ophthalmologist with many years of practice in the field of eye diseases. She graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 1982 and obtained her specialization in ophthalmology from the Medical Academy in Sofia in 1986. Throughout her career, Dr. Angelova has developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, as well as in the management of inflammatory and degenerative eye diseases.

Clinical competencies: Diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma; Cataract surgery; Perimetry, pachymetry, autorefractometry tests; Ophthalmological monitoring of diabetic patients; Work with RETCAM equipment for diagnosing retinopathy in premature infants.
