D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics and University Hospital “Kaneff” AD – Ruse Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
The D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov and University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment “Kaneff” AD – Ruse have signed a memorandum of cooperation. Driven by the understanding that sustainable economic and social development requires collaboration and partnership between academia and business, the document was signed by Prof. Dr. Mariyana Bozhinova, Rector of the Academy, and Eng. Ivan Ivanov, Executive Director of the hospital.
Both parties expressed their commitment to establishing close cooperation focused on accelerating the professional development of young specialists after graduation. According to Eng. Ivanov, the D. A. Tsenov Academy is a recognized leader in educational technologies and a prominent scientific and research center in Bulgaria. The signed memorandum will enable fruitful collaboration between scientists and medical professionals from both institutions across various areas.
Prof. Bozhinova thanked the hospital for the high regard and the proposal for partnership. She stated that the Academy has long-standing traditions in education and scientific research in the fields of social work and health management, and this cooperation will be mutually beneficial.
To discuss specific activities related to the memorandum, Evelina Vankova – Management Consultant, and Marin Georgiev – Scientific Consultant at University Hospital “Kaneff,” visited the Academy. Among the topics discussed were training opportunities for medical residents and PhD students, promotion of internship programs and job openings, joint participation in career forums, and the implementation of collaborative initiatives and projects.
