Today, at an official ceremony, His Eminence Neofit, Metropolitan of Ruse, consecrated the new patient area of the Dialysis Department. The ceremony was attended by Ignat Kaneff himself. Also present were the Minister of Health Mr. Kiril Ananiev and Deputy Minister of Health Mrs. Zheni Nacheva.
The complete expansion and renovation were funded by the Ignat Kaneff Charitable Foundation. The project cost amounted to 500,000 BGN. In parallel, the entire equipment and apparatus of the department were renewed, funded by the Ministry of Health with an additional 600,000 BGN. These funds were used to purchase 22 hemodialysis machines, a water purification system, electric hemodialysis chairs and beds. Two additional hemodialysis machines were donated by local business representatives.
University Hospital “Kaneff” and the entire team of the Dialysis Department express their gratitude to the Ignat Kaneff Charitable Foundation, the Ministry of Health, and the donating companies: Dominex Pro Ltd., Stroysvet Ltd., Roan 90 Ltd., Gorainvest AD, and Megachim AD.
The total amount donated to date by the Ignat Kaneff Charitable Foundation to University Hospital “Kaneff” is nearly 2 million BGN.
