Department of Pediatrics

The “Pediatrics” department treats children up to 18 years of age with pulmonary, cardiovascular, nephrological, gastroenterological, toxicological, hematological, neurological, endocrine, metabolic disorders, and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, as well as allergic conditions. The department is divided into three sectors:

  • For children up to 2 years old,
  • For children from 3 to 13 years old,
  • For children from 14 to 17 years old.

Inpatient

The department is located on the 7th floor of the Surgical Block of the hospital. It has 45 hospital beds, including those for intensive care.

Apparatus

The doctors in the department have additional qualifications to perform echocardiography and abdominal organ ultrasound. They have the necessary equipment for these procedures, as well as ECG machines, a vitalograph for measuring external respiration, monitors, a device for controlling body temperature, and more.
