The first patient cured of COVID-19 was discharged today from UMHAT “KANEFF”.
Fatigue, easy exhaustion, bilateral pneumonia, and worsening cough were the initial symptoms of the first patient admitted with COVID-19 at UMHAT “KANEFF” in Ruse. This was reported today by the attending physician, Dr. Margarita Georgieva.

Today, University Hospital “KANEFF” received as a donation an innovative “Shelly AIR” air purifier from ALTERKO ROBOTICS. The device was purchased with funds raised from the “GOLYAMO VRANOVO for UMHAT ‘KANEFF'” campaign, which was joined by 25 families from Golyamo Vranovo, as well as Zerin Nurhan Hakka. Thanks to this noble gesture, UMHAT “KANEFF” is one of the seven Bulgarian medical institutions to have this air purifying device.
The team and management of University Hospital “KANEFF” express their RESPECT AND GRATITUDE to the people of Golyamo Vranovo and their initiative, which will support the doctors on the front line in the fight against COVID-19.

United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) and Mastercard have donated nearly 15,000 BGN to UMHAT “KANEFF” AD to help in the fight against the pandemic.
The funds were raised through two initiatives held in April and will be used for the treatment of patients with COVID-19.
