In connection with the COVID-19 epidemic, the Regional Court of Ruse supported the Big Hospital with a donation of 6,350 BGN. The donors’ wish is for the funds to be used to purchase protective and safety clothing for medical staff and disinfectants.

The donation was personally handed over by the director of the Ruse Spiritual School, Mr. Tunjay Sheriff, and his colleague Adem Kalach to the executive director of the healthcare facility, Ivan Ivanov. The protective face shields were made in the school’s workshop.

University Hospital “KANEFF” in Ruse is prepared for intensive care of six COVID-19 patients. For this purpose, an isolation sector has been set up with the necessary equipment. It also has 24 beds for patients in milder condition.
