No matter how much time you have left until your due date, it’s normal to feel excited and a little nervous about what awaits you once labor begins. The good news is that we offer you the opportunity to reduce the tension before childbirth and address many of the questions you surely have. If you take a little time to visit the Open Doors event at the OB-GYN complex of the University Hospital “Kaneff” planning for childbirth might not be so stressful. If you can’t visit us in person, you can do so virtually.<\/p>

Yes! Our Open Doors initiative offers you a wonderful way to dive into the unknown, especially if you’re expecting your first baby and the whole experience is new.<\/span><\/p>

A familiarization walk around the Obstetrics and Gynecology complex pays off in many ways. If it’s personal, it can be a great practice for how to get to the hospital when the moment arrives and to choose the best route. This includes details that you can smooth out, such as where to park and which entrance to go to, whether you’ll arrive during lunchtime, rush hour, or in the middle of the night. During Open Doors, you will even have the chance to meet some of the staff who will assist you during your stay with us.<\/span><\/p>

But the biggest advantage of the pre-birth tour, whether personal or virtual, is that it gives you an idea of where you’ll be and what will happen on the big day.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A good time to tour the Obstetrics and Gynecology complex is at the beginning of the third trimester of pregnancy. Specifically, you can do this between week 30 and week 34 of pregnancy.<\/span><\/p>

The Open Doors initiative is completely free. Information about when and how it takes place can be found on the official Facebook page of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Complex at UMBA “Kaneff”.<\/span><\/p>
