Throughout its more than one and a half-century history, University Hospital “Kaneff” has always played a leading role in safeguarding the health of the population in the region and neighboring areas. Thanks to continuous technological updates with state-of-the-art medical equipment and investments in modernizing the building infrastructure, it remains a preferred healthcare facility for over 30,000 patients annually. At the heart of the hospital’s activities is patient care through timely, effective, and innovative medical assistance following the principles of good medical practice.<\/p>

In a constantly competitive environment, UMHAT “Kaneff” develops high-quality consultative, diagnostic, and hospital care while adhering to ethical guidelines. The hospital employs 220 doctors<\/strong>, many of whom hold two or more specialties, 420 healthcare specialists<\/strong>, and 207 attendants<\/strong>. The healthcare facility has 28 departments<\/strong> and offers 516 beds<\/strong>. It provides 24-hour emergency and scheduled care<\/strong> to all in need, regardless of nationality, religion, race, gender, or health status. In accordance with the university function of the hospital, the staff is constantly developing and qualifying to meet the ever-increasing standards in medical practice. Highly qualified specialists contribute to research and applied medical science, as well as the implementation of modern medical technologies. The hospital management encourages teaching activities, and the facility serves as a clinical base for training medical students and postgraduate qualification of doctors. Over 80 resident doctors<\/strong> are trained in 28 specialties<\/strong>, and students from the Faculty of Public Health and Healthcare<\/strong> at Ruse University gain practical knowledge and experience in various medical fields.<\/span><\/p>
