Integrated Measures to Improve Access to Education&#8221; \u2013 Component 2, under the Operational Programme &#8220;Human Resources Development&#8221; (OP HRD) 2014\u20132020 and the Operational Programme &#8220;Science and Education for Smart Growth&#8221; (OP SESG) 2014\u20132020.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"611\"><strong data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"611\">Project Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"849\">The aim of the project is to integrate people in vulnerable social positions, including those belonging to other ethnic groups, and to overcome their existing negative socio-economic characteristics, enabling them to prosper in society.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"1062\">The implementation of the project will provide these groups with equal access to opportunities, goods, and services, as well as participation in all areas of public life, thereby improving their quality of life.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1158\"><strong data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1158\">UMHAT &#8220;Kaneff&#8221; AD is involved in the project in the area of improving access to employment.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1253\"><strong data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1174\">Objective:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1177\" \/>To acquire knowledge, skills, and work habits in a real working environment.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1515\"><strong data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1272\">Target Group:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1275\" \/>Representatives of vulnerable groups, people at risk and\/or victims of discrimination. The activity focuses on providing employment through internships and mentoring for individuals from the target group who are at risk of social exclusion.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1593\">As a project partner, UMHAT &#8220;Kaneff&#8221; AD will provide internship training for:<\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1756\">\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1632\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1632\">3 individuals as hospital orderlies,<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1693\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1635\" data-end=\"1693\">1 individual as a general worker in a healthcare facility,<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1756\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1756\">2 individuals as social assistants in a healthcare facility,<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1879\">for a period of 12 months from the project\u2019s start date, in accordance with the Grant Agreement under OP HRD and OP SESG.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1967\">Six mentors \u2013 employees of UMHAT &#8220;Kaneff&#8221; AD \u2013 will be assigned to support the interns.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"1988\"><strong data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"1988\">Implementation:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"2072\">The internship will include the acquisition of the following knowledge and skills:<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2074\" data-end=\"2104\"><strong data-start=\"2074\" data-end=\"2104\">1. For hospital orderlies:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"2105\" data-end=\"2446\">\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2105\" data-end=\"2222\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2107\" data-end=\"2222\">Providing basic patient care (changing bed linen, feeding, hygiene assistance, transportation using mobility aids);<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2223\" data-end=\"2366\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2366\">Disinfection procedures in hospital rooms with varying levels of infection risk (cleaning methods, disinfection types, workflow segregation);<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2367\" data-end=\"2446\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2369\" data-end=\"2446\">Hospital waste management (waste types, separation, storage, transportation).<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2448\" data-end=\"2475\"><strong data-start=\"2448\" data-end=\"2475\">2. For general workers:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"2476\" data-end=\"2719\">\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2476\" data-end=\"2561\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2478\" data-end=\"2561\">Cleaning and disinfection procedures in shared hospital areas and outdoor premises;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2642\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2642\">Hospital waste management, including handling and autoclaving hazardous waste;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2719\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2645\" data-end=\"2719\">Maintenance of green spaces, flower beds, and shrubs in the hospital yard.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2721\" data-end=\"2750\"><strong data-start=\"2721\" data-end=\"2750\">3. For social assistants:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"3171\">\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2808\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2753\" data-end=\"2808\">Assisting patients with personal and therapeutic needs;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2809\" data-end=\"2858\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2811\" data-end=\"2858\">Documenting patient care and condition changes;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2859\" data-end=\"2924\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2861\" data-end=\"2924\">Communicating with healthcare and social service professionals;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2925\" data-end=\"3053\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2927\" data-end=\"3053\">Providing emotional support and guidance on nutrition, hygiene, exercise, child care, and adaptation to disability or illness;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"3054\" data-end=\"3096\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3056\" data-end=\"3096\">Assisting new parents with newborn care;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"3097\" data-end=\"3171\">\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3171\">Scheduling and accompanying patients to medical appointments or errands.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3194\"><strong data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3194\">Expected Results:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"3196\" data-end=\"3719\">Three individuals from vulnerable groups in disadvantaged situations, and three of Roma origin, who by the end of the operation will have either started seeking employment, found employment, engaged in education or training, gained a qualification, or accessed social and healthcare services.
